Most Painful Ear Piercing

Most Painful Ear Piercing - Lulu Ave
Want to get a piercing but don't know if it's too painful? From our experience these are the piercings people rank the most painful. Lets begin
Ear Lobe
Starting at the bottom of the list the least painful piercing is the ear lobe. This area is made up of soft tissue which is why it is one of the least painful. Make sure you get it done with a needle instead of a gun.
Helix
Moving our way up the pain scale, the next one is the helix piercing. These are not too painful but the pain level is going to be about a 3-4 since it is not soft tissue, it is now cartilage.
Forward Helix
The forward helix is a smaller area but the cartilage is a bit more dense so you will definitely feel it more than the helix. Get ready to sweat a little bit.
Conch
The conch piercing is located in the middle of the ear. A lot of people say this piercing feels like if you were getting punched in the ear. As Johnny likes to say its like Mike Tyson punched you in the ear, its a really quick POP!
Tragus
Now we're getting our feet a little wet. We're in the pool right now because we need to cool off. The tragus gets more painful because it is a smaller and ever more dense area than the forward helix. Since it's thicker you do feel it a lot more.
Rook
With the rook piercing you're going to experience a high pain level because of where it is located. It is more of a pressure and pain feeling combined. We do get a lot of reactions at our studio with this piercing and the pain level is more like a 7 with this one.
Daith
The daith piercing will leave you speechless. This one is more of a pressure and pain as well but much more intense. We've had a client in the past scream at the top of her lungs while getting this piercing, so it is definitely up there.
Industrial
Last but not least the most painful piercing is the industrial piercing. Where it is located on your ear, makes it a painful piercing to get. The angle, movement, and the needle they use is extremely painful since it is on the thicker size.
BONUS!
The snug piercing is the thickest area to get pierced on the ear. You will feel excruciating pain and it take forever to heal.
